Other Virtual Assets We Buy

TikTok, Discord, Telegram, forums, email lists, app user bases and domains: what else we buy, how unusual properties are valued, and what we will not touch.

If it has an audience, it is probably sellable. The list below is not exhaustive. The question we actually ask is whether anyone would pay to reach the people attached to it.

What else do you buy?

We will consider any property with a large enough following or user base:

  • TikTok accounts, priced on views and audience geography, not follower count.
  • Established websites and blogs, see websites and domains.
  • Domains, with or without a site on them.
  • Online communities and forums with active membership.
  • Discord and Telegram groups, valued on active participants, not joins.
  • Email lists, where consent and provenance are documented. This matters: a list that cannot show lawful consent is not an asset, it is a GDPR liability, and we will not buy one.
  • App user bases with real retention.
  • Snapchat, Twitch, LinkedIn and other platform audiences, ask.

How do you value something unusual?

The same four questions as anything else:

  1. How many people, and how many of them are actually active?
  2. Where are they, and are they in a market advertisers pay for?
  3. Is the subject something a business wants to sell into?
  4. Does it already make money, and can you prove it?

Properties with documented revenue are far easier to place than properties with a large audience and no income, because revenue turns a buyer’s guess into a calculation.

What we will not buy

  • Anything built with fake accounts, bots or click farms.
  • Email lists without documented consent.
  • Properties under suspension or with unresolved policy problems.
  • Anything you cannot prove you own.
