Is ViralAccounts.com unsafe? Facebook seems to think so.

Update 22.08.2016: We have been currently unbanned from Facebook! Read more here.

It’s official, Facebook has banned the ability to share or view our website (ViralAccounts.com) on their platform. There is nothing more jarring than finding out that your website has been banned by Facebook. However, this often occurs with no warning, because the Facebook algorithms that run to protect its users from spam and unwanted websites are completely automatic.

Why was ViralAccounts.com URL banned from Facebook?

Facebook cares about its usersĀ (except their privacy) and, as a result, has very strict rules about what is allowed on Facebook and what is not. Unfortunately, some of those rules are not written anywhere that can be accessed by the common user, thus leaving many website owners in a difficult situation. We have a couple of theories on why Facebook decided to ban ViralAccounts.com, and they are:

  • Competition reported us. Yes, we as a business have competitors. To tarnish our good name they might have resorted to using dirty tactics.
  • We got caught unintentionally. This may be a plausible theory, as Facebook faced scrutiny in the past by blocking thousands of innocent websites.
  • Facebook simply does not like our business model. It is no secret that Facebook does not like when Facebook Fanpages are being sold/traded, so to limit this they might have forced a site-wide ban against our URL.

So, is ViralAccounts.com a safe website to use?

Naturally, our answer will be biased, but we would like to remind our readers that:

  1. We have been in business since 2010. We are the longest and the safest company with strict quality control that buys/sells social media properties.
  2. You will find nothing but positive opinions about our service, just “Google around” to verify.
  3. We are the only company in this field that issues same day payments.
  4. We are a legally registered company!

So, in conclusion, even though we can no longer advertise on Facebook, rest assured that we are still here and we aren’t going anywhere. ViralAccounts.com team is dedicated, and we will do everything in our power to find the right buyer/seller for your social media property.
